Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 slices of American cheese
- 2 hamburger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Mayonnaise
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat.
- Form the ground beef into two patties, season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the beef patties in the skillet for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, in another pan, cook the bacon until crispy.
- When the beef patties are almost done, place a slice of cheese on top of each patty to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns in the skillet until golden brown.
- Assemble your burger: spread mayonnaise on the bottom bun, add the lettuce, then the beef patty with cheese, bacon, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
