Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Vegetable oil (for frying)
- 3 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 green onions, sliced (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a bowl, coat the chicken pieces in cornstarch, then dip in the beaten eggs.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium and add sesame oil. Stir in sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and garlic. Cook until the sauce thickens slightly.
