- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 teaspoons minced garlic
- 2 teaspoons minced ginger
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is dissolved.
- In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and water until smooth. Add this mixture to the sauce and stir well.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, add the garlic, ginger, and crushed red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour the sauce mixture into the saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens, about 2-3 minutes.
