Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast, sliced
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup white wine
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Let it simmer for 3-4 minutes.
- Reduce heat to low and add heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, stirring to combine. Let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cooked chicken and linguine to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving. Enjoy!
