Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- 8 oz sliced turkey breast
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 1 cup leaf lettuce
- 2 slices of tomato
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Butter for grilling
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise and Dijon mustard.
- Spread the mixture evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Layer 4 oz of sliced turkey, 2 slices of Swiss cheese, lettuce, and tomato on two slices of bread (the side with the spread).
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, spread side down.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter.
- Grill the sandwiches for about 3-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Slice in half and serve warm.
