- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup finely chopped cabbage
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 package gyoza wrappers
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Soy sauce, for dipping
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine ground chicken, chopped cabbage, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Mix well.
- Take a gyoza wrapper and place about 1 tablespoon of the chicken filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, fold it in half, and pinch the edges to seal.
- Repeat until all filling is used.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a thin layer of vegetable oil.
- Add gyoza to the skillet and cook until the bottoms are golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add a splash of water to the skillet and cover quickly to steam for about 5 minutes.
- Once cooked, remove the lid and let them crisp up for another minute.
- Serve hot with soy sauce for dipping.
