- 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water (110°F)
- 2 tablespoons poppy seeds
- 2 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast.
- Gradually add warm water, mixing until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a bagel.
- In a small bowl, mix poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic, and onion; set aside.
