Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
- Chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, honey, rice vinegar, sriracha, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil to make the marinade.
- Place chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour in the marinade. Seal and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Remove chicken from marinade, reserving the marinade for later.
- Grill or pan-fry the chicken for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.
- In a small saucepan, bring the reserved marinade to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Brush the thickened glaze over the cooked chicken and cook for an additional minute on each side.
- Remove from heat, let rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve garnished with sesame seeds and chopped green onions.
