- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce

- Add chicken broth, soy sauce, sugar, rice vinegar, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes. Stir and bring to a boil.
- Return the fried chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
