Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- Marinara or Alfredo sauce for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour and salt. Create a well in the center and add the eggs. Gradually mix the flour into the eggs until a dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth, about 5-7 minutes. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it rest for 30 minutes.
- In another bowl, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix until well blended.
- Roll out the dough into thin sheets, about 1/16 inch thick. Cut into squares or circles using a pasta cutter.
- Place a teaspoon of filling in the center of each square. Fold the dough over to form a triangle and seal the edges with a fork.
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook ravioli for 4-5 minutes or until they float to the top. Remove and drain.
- Serve hot with marinara or Alfredo sauce on top.
